CB'S 30TH@SMOKEOUT

Last weeekend my girl celebrated her "Dirty Thirty" at the 2009 Smokeout Tour. I had a great time hanging with friends I haven't hung out with in a long time. We mostly chilled in the VIP lounge the whole time. It was really nice, there were couches, live bands playing music, private cabanas, ice cream truck giving out free ice cream, food etc. The only 2 groups we saw perform were SUBLIME and CYPRESS HILL. Both shows were amazing. Cypress tore it up with all their old skool hits "Insane in the brain", "How I can just kill a man", "Dr. Greenthumb" etc. Here are a few pics I took w/my cam...

Met with my girls last week for some drinks and Mexican food. We ate at this restaurant in Redondo Beach called Ortega 120 and it was really good. I had a few pomegranate margaritas and ate the chicken enchiladas mole, both were delish! For dessert Christina ordered a round of Churros, vanilla ice cream and chocolate dip for the whole table. Can I say WOW?! They were so tasty, nice and warm dipped in the cold ice cream. I was in heaven...

This past weekend we went to Jonathan Adler (the furniture store) in L.A on Melrose. As we walked in we were greeted by the cutest little thing ever! A French Bulldog named Gabe. He was so chill just walking around the store minding his own business. I was able to capture a few shots of him. Look at his cute lil face. I want one now!!!

ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END

It's been a great week! Had a lot of fun visiting L.A this trip. I got to hang with my friends and spend some nice quality time with the Fam. We ate at a dope Mexican restaurant in Redondo Beach called Ortega 120. I hung with girlfriends and visited with their "little ones". I helped my bro and his girl move into their new crib. We went to the Smokeout Tour in San Bernardino. We went shopping and had lunch with my bro in law and sis in law in West L.A and Melrose. The family and I had some bomb Korean BBQ to celebrate my belated Bday and My bro's BIG move-in. I'm sad to be leaving tomorrow after being here for 5 days and doing so many fun and exciting things. I always miss it when I come back to what I still call "home". Hopefully one day I'll be back to live here for good. Check back in a few days to see some pics from my visit down. As Randy Newman says..."I LOVE L.A"!!!!

I'm heading down to L.A. tomorrow to visit the Fam and friends. Going out to dinner with my girls I haven't seen in a long time so I'm excited about that. Also, one of my girls is turning 30 on Sat so she's celebrating her big one at the SMOKEOUT TOUR in San Bernardino. It's a 2 day festival and they're having over 20 different bands perform. Happy Monday everybody! It's raining cats and dogs today. I'm not one for the cold or rain but I know some of you are. This weather is my least fave. I'd rather be in 90 degree heat than this stuff. On the other hand, I love rainbows and there's always a rainbow after it rains. Check this rainbow that I saw driving home today. Took it with my camera phone so it may not be that clear...

B-DAY CELEBRATION!

What's up ya'll? Yesterday was my 29th Birthday and we celebrated at this Brazilian Churrascaria Restaurant "Espetus". Never ate so much meat in my life at one time. Everything was delish and I would definitely go back to this place. They come around to your table with big skewers of 14 different kinds of meats. They had chicken, filet, pork tenderloin, top sirloin, sirloin steak, beef ribs, flank steak, sausages, shrimp, lamb, chicken heart, pineapple, fried plantain and many many more. We were all stuffed at the end of the night! I had a few tropical drinks that were yummy..Brazilian Mojito and the bartender made me a "special drink" that was amazing. The best part of the whole night was my peanut butter and oreo cookie ice cream cake!!!! Ahhh It was BANANAS.  Check out a few pics that were taken lastnight...
