2010 SPRING DENIM

Spring is just around the corner and these are a few of the denim trends that I'm feeling this Season. I've always been a fan of ripped denim and it seems that they have come back..Again. This look can be rugged and chic at the same time. I love that you can pair them with flats or sandals for a casual look or spruce it up with a blazer & booties or  a tank & wedges for a little more of an edge.

Another trend that has made a comeback is the patch denim. I remember rockin these back in the day, wish I would've held on to some of them so I could bring them back out. They're easy to find these days now that they are back in business...

Denim Jackets have made their comeback like almost everything you gave away when you were younger. They look cool for chillen during the day over a dress or a tee with leggings. If you don't have your childhood jean jacket anymore than you're in luck because you can find them just about anywhere now!

And last but not least the EX-Boyfriend shorts. Say goodbye to the daisy dukes and hello to the longer, looser denim short. They are more comfy and classy..Hoochie is out ladies! Pair these with tanks, v-necks, blouses or plaid button ups. Also another piece that can be worn from day to night..Sandals by day boots/platforms by night.                

                  

Oh and before I finish up just one last thing. I bought this LV denim bag a few years back and tried to sell it on Ebay last year, had no luck but I guess it was a good thing. Looks like I'll be bringing it back out of the box this Spring and rockin it =) !

BUN IN THE OVEN

Hi all! Just wanted to share some exciting news with everybody. On Wed Jan 6, 2010 we found out that there is a Bun in the Oven =). I was so excited and also in disbelief that I had to take 2 tests!!!! It turned out to be the truth. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and I feel great. We're so stoked we can't even explain in words how we feel. Everything is looking good so far with the baby. I'll keep you posted throughout this whole journey. It should be a lot of fun we can't wait!!!!!!! Have a Great weekend everyone and Happy Friday =)

FOOD INC. A MUST SEE!

This Weekend I finally got a chance to watch the movie that a lot of people have been talking about, FOOD INC. This film just solidifies how much we really know (or should I say how much we really DON'T know)about the food we buy at our local supermarkets and serve to ourselves and our familes. It opened up my eyes to how I am going to change the way I shop for my food from now on. The green way is the healthiest and safest way! Watch the trailer and see for yourself....

FRESH KICKS

I am Loving my new running shoes that I picked up last Weekend. They are called "Lunar Glides". I've been searching for a new pair but haven't really seen anything that has caught my attention. I saw these and loved the different color combos they came in. They're super light and very comfortable as well, it literally feels like I'm running on air. Don't let the weight of these fool you....Nike Lunar Glide is made up from flywire that provides the ultra light support and hug for maximum security and comfort to the feet. I feel like I can run miles in these babies! They come in about 10 different colors, check out a few of the other colors...

"EVEN ANGELS"

Check out this clip of Fantasia doing her thing on the Oprah show (episode airs today). She performed her new single "Even Angels" from her upcoming album. This song was produced by my brother-in-law Jon Yip and his crew "Stereotypes". It's getting a lot of love so far, see how you like it. Pretty touching song especially since she's been through a lot in her life.
